How Weaknesses and Trials Can Make You More Christ Like

Burdens and sufferings are not words we as Christians like to hear, and especially when one goes through trial after trial, burden after burden, agonies so heavy we say Lord why or how much longer Lord?!

Well I'm here to let you know that these weaknesses and all of the suffering have not came in your life to make you quitt, give up, or break you down!

No!

Instead they are meant to cause us to look upwards, fall on our knees, and seek God's face with heartfelt prayer!

If truth be told, you know some of us ONLY pray when trials come our way. In fact this is when we pray hard, and grab a hold to the horns of the Altar and make promises to God about this and that.

But yet as soon as the trials and test go away we so easily forget about all the crying and promises we made.

This should not be, and still God loves us, brings us out and help us to go through each and every time.

The weaknesses and sufferings we go through are again not meant to break us but to make us. So when we go through we should look at it differently.

Although some when they go through trials they go through it with the wrong attidude and instead of praying they complain, grow bitter, and their hearts grow hard.

However this is not the correct road to take.

Jesus said take up your cross and follow Him.

Did you actually think that you wouldn't have a cross?

We all have crosses we have to carry and we must do it without complaining, growing bittter and instead remember the cross!

Our weaknesses and suffering should be used to help us pray heartfelt prayers and come closer to the Lord.

Sometimes we go through and we get so caught up in why we are going through and we try to figure out what to pray about or how to pray.

Instead of all of that, we should instead just come into His presence and fall out before Him and just cry out to Him.

Sometimes when you are really hurt and you have went through a variety of sufferings you don't even know what to pray or even worse sometimes can't even cry!

Have you been there?

I know I have, and if you haven't just keep living and you will.

It's at times like these when words totally fail us.

This is when praying in the Holy Ghost is needed because He knows what to pray for because the Holy Spirit with-in you knows the desire of the Father in Heaven.

Paul says, the Spirit "intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words".

When we pray in the Spirit you can rest assure that God hears your heart felt prayers. Our Father is always searching the hearts to understand our cries.

So next time you go through a trial, or test remember it's only to build you up and not break you down!

Instead go through it saying "all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and who are the called according to His Purpose".
